I am an awesome:: My name is Amy. I grew up in Maine and now live in New Hampshire. I have quilted on and off for 10 years. I love making homemade quilts, sewing, and any craft project. This past year I have started to make fabric coiled baskets. I love this craft, because, like quilting, you can be very creative to achieve a unique piece of art. Other interests include hiking, basketball, swimming, cooking, the ocean, sea glass, spending time with friends and family.

I am interested in patterns such as:: I like to use patterns from books. I really like That Patch Work Place Books. Sometimes I will make my own pattern as I go along.

Don't get too intense about being a "model parent", kids learn mostly from what they observe. They tend too fight the powerful, dominanting parent. As a grand mother I have seen from both sides now. Most grandparents say they prefer being grandparents, it's more fun. I had fun with my girls and still taught them the stuff they needed to know. I love being a grandmother but I don't have the stamina for it any more. LOL
