I enjoy sewing, cross-stitch, embroidery, knitting and gardening, as soon as Spring comes along. I live in Prince Edward Island. I also do 40+ hours per month volunteering at the local hospital so don't have as much time as I would like to sew.
Hi Pat.I'm in Georgetown.Size 3/4 huh?Never had to deal with that in my crowd. Not even wih any of the prom dresses i've made over the years.I guess we grow them big down this way.Although I never thought size 10 or 12 was terribly big.Fashion now says that a size 14 is a plus size! I have heard other girls says that their friend wears a size 0...wouldn't fit my arm!
Have you ever felted booties? On one of the web sites they sell a pattern...I thought it would be easy to enough to find a pattern for a little slip-on and make some for my grandaughter, but I have not been able to find a free pattern. I may have to create my own. The hardest part may be sizing...I won't know how much they will shrink until I make them since all yarns are different. Any yarn suggestions? I really don't want to invest too much during the trial and error process, but may have too. Brenda
