I am retired , I love to read, I love to learn, and I am now getting out the sewing machine and all the fabrics I brought to some day learn to quilt. am almost there. I am also using up those beads I bought , that also sat to collect dust.

If I got something like that, I would truly cherish it.  It's the thought.  We can learn from almost EVERY thing we sew, or sketch, or embroider........ So, if you are happy with how it turned out, and your niece loves it, then I'd say Job Well Done! Keep up the good work!
