Profile Information

I am an awesome:
I began sewing in school in Jr. High. My mom also sewed, I learned alot from watching her. I sewed while I was a stay at home mom. Mainly costumes and decor sewing. I also did alot of cross-stitch also. Now that the kids are on their own, I went back to college and since I haven't found work yet I have been spending alot of time repairing my clothes and making myself new things out of old things. No money creates invention.
My sewing interests are:
garment, home decor, cross stitch
My sewing machine(s):
Montgomery Ward Model 1960 or 1950. Bought it in 1982 as a floor model and it has been a workhorse ever since. It also has traveled well. Bought in VA, moved to Germany, then MA and finally WA. I love my awesome machine.
I am interested in patterns such as:
Simple ones.
