Hi Robbie, I haven't heard from you and intended to wait until I ahd so not to bother you, but I just had to let you know I finally got those curtains done and I still have hair. It was certainly a learning experience - not one I want to repeat either. I just don't seem to into home furnishing sewing like I do garment sewing. How have you been? Sorry to be bothersome about this members mix thing. Gotta go and get supper started. Have a great week!!!!
Hi Robbie, I hope you had a plesant weekend. Mine was pretty good. The roads cleared up so we got to go to church Sunday. We have missed the last two Sundays I think. My week always seems to go better if I begin my week by being in church on Sunday. The weather and road conditions have not cooperated at all since we got the snow around Christmas Day. It has been hard for me to get out at all. I have a Ford Escape but the four wheel drive in it doesn't work. I could get my vehicle out but it won't come back in. Oh well that just gives me more time to work on those curtains. Gives me more time to pull my hair out too. You are so lucky if you can arrange flowers. I try and try but all I do is make a big mess. They never look right. I love flowers and during the months when I have some blooming, I always bring some in. But you can tell when you see them that I am no good at arrangements. Well, I guess I had better get back to my headache(the curtains) and get my suffering over with. Have a good rest of the week.
Morning, Mercy you get up early. I used to and after I worked third shift for a while, I got my sleep pattern turned around. Now it's hard for me to get to sleep at night and takes me forever to wake up in the morning. What type of sewing do you do? I sew garments mostly. Right now I am trying to finish a set of lined curtains for a local college' and let me tell you - I AM ABOUT TO PULL MY HAIR OUT. If I ever get these done I will never do another set. I have sewn curtains for my home, my daughter and my daughter by marriage, but it was never this hard to get them right. Speaking of the curtains, I had better get off and get to them. Sincerely hope I'm not bald by the time I get them done. Have a great day. Derenda

Horatio is the sweetest cat. He follows everywhere and is very affectionate. The best part is he doesn't get into the fabric or thread while I'm trying to sew!! Thanks for the comment.
