I'm very impressed - it's beautiful. I bought a yoyo maker at a show last year but I'm not sure about it yet. I have seen purses made from tiny silk yoyo's imported from China. Maybe one day ....!
Aww ty I decided to just use 2 colors in addition to the contrast rather than 4. We'll see how it goes, but so far I am pretty happy about the choices!!
I was looking around and found a really cute pattern for an X bag like the one you were asking about. Not sure if it is the same as you wanted but maybe someone will give it a try! I know I will be making it myself and when I finish I'll try…
Hello, I am a keen quilter and would-be dressmaker. I use an Artista 170 and would like to get the most out of it.
I live in a rural area of England and have a large garden with a vegetable and fruit garden, and free-range hens.
I have just finished work after 25 years or so as a child care social worker so have more time on my hands (theoretically) to sew. I also like to walk in the hills; and I do Iengar yoga. I'm lefthanded, and I'm just teaching myself to crochet from diagrams on the web!

Hi, Rosie, thank you. I am quite proud of my crazy quilt tree skirt in my photo. It was a major turning point for me since it was first big sale on eBay. It took almost a month to complete and was mostly vintage silkies and velvets scraps I bought at a flea market. I love to crazy quilt, especially to get to play with luxurious fabrics, it just takes a while to do. Thank you so much for your comment, I love this website.
Hi Rosie, Your package is going out today. I don't know how long it takes for mail overseas, but according to the post office website it should be 7 - 10 days. I put all the info in the address...which is a BIG address!! I hope you like the squares I sent...NO browns or oranges!! Happy Quilting...Lynne.
Hi Rosie! I'm your swap partner. In my job I ship alot of things to the UK so when I saw your address I was a little concerned because there seemed to be too much of it!! Is all of this needed in the street address: Lapthorne Cottage, Park Hill, Ipplepen, Newton Abbot?? I just want to be sure you get your package! I was reading your profile...I have a Bernina too. Do you have the embroidery arm too? I'll communicate further if you'd like. I signed in to be your "friend" too.
