Alicia, I have a CE-100. I am beginning to adjust to it and, for my learning purposes, it works fine. I am constantly told that it is not a top of the line machine. And I, in turn, remind others that I am just learning to do machine embroidery, and…
I recently bought a Singer CE-100, sewing and embroidery machine. Do any of you know of a tutorial that I can get to help me learn this new skill that I am working on?
Hello, all. I have become the proud owner of a Singer CE-100 Sewing/Embroidery Machine. I am very new to the embroidery side of things and want to know if any of you have this, or the newer version of this , machine. I ma just learning to use it. If…

Hi Sandra, good ideas! We have a somewhat local auto store. I always tell my husband they don't have any "girl" toys, but now I see they do. What is the name of your auto store? We have Advance Auto about 15 miles away and then a larger town about 30 miles away that would probably have more than one. I live in what I call a fishing village on the Chesapeake Bay,population of about 3000.We have one major road in straight to the waterfront. History says we were once a busy ,actually nationally known spot, but that is long gone. We have a Dollar General and Family Dollar store and one hardware store and that is about it. I like it but it would of course not suite everyone's taste. I think your idea will help me tremdously. Thank you , and happy hunting with your friend. Robert Burns

Sandra, great idea! I can use all the tips I can get. It used to be frustrating to cut out garments because just pinning the pattern on didn't give me the control I wanted but I have sort of adjusted to that but your idea sounds right up my alley. Robert Burns
Sandra, hello. I also am new. Alas, I am female, Robert is my husbands name. How kind of you to make a gift as you described. I have not done much sewing lately, but visiting this site has gotten me thinking again. I am having a lot of fun reading all the news. Thank you for the note, hope to hear from you again!
Hello all. I'm happy to be a part of this site. And to begin with I have a question for you creative sorts. I have about 14 ties that I need to make into some sort of keepsake. Any ideas for something simple and easy to transport. I've considered the pillow, but think I would rather make a sham/cover that can be taken off and stored. The item I make will go to three adult children who lost their father a while back and I want to give them something to keep. Any ideas???
