OLD machine

Posted on April 23, 2010 at 2:58pm 5 Comments

i just picked up an OLD Singer at an estate sale. it probably needs a new motor. The light works and it turns fine by hand. it also has an "ornate" foot pedal. the cabinet could use some refinishing. Can anyone tell me what to do next (and why) to get it back into working order.

thanks,
Sewbusy

Thanks again for your kind words. I think the patience comes from not setting a deadline. They always get finished, eventually!

Thanks so much for the compliment. It was so much fun to make this quilt and I'm so glad everyone seems to like it. Usually I work in earth tones, but for some reason something I saw inspired me to use those colors and I'm really glad I did.
