I've been sewing since college. (Yikes! Over 40 yrs.!!) Sewing, music, our dogs and, of course, hubby of 44 yrs. are all my great joys in life. Since retirement 8 yrs. ago, we've lived on San Juan Island off the NW corner of Washington state, one of the most beautiful places in the country. I belong to ASG, Rainshadow Quilters and Clothing & Textile Advisers (they put on the Sewing Expo each year in Puyallup). I also teach kids how to sew and earn a little (to help support my sewing habit) by sewing for others. Life is good!
My sewing interests are:
garment, home decor, quilting, embroidery
My sewing machine(s):
Bernina 180, Bernina 1130, Babylock Evolve Serger, Bernina 2000 Serger, Singer Featherweight (1937), and several sturdy old workhorses for student use when needed.
I am interested in patterns such as:
"Micro Patern Company" patterns as well as old Stretch & Sew patterns and McCalls and Simplicity.
