I am interested in patterns such as:
I love Vogue,But I use any pattern I can get. I interchange the pieces to get the effect that I want. I don't follow the rules when I use patterns, I change and interchange them so much until if anyone wanted to borrow them, they wouldn't look the same as the original.

Just What A Fabric-A-Holic Needs-- More Fabric

Posted on July 17, 2010 at 9:00pm 29 Comments

I have been collecting fabrics for as long as I can remember and one thing that some might say is "don't give her anymore fabric"

I belong to a quilting guild and we trade fabrics once in awhile. One of our members brought a stack of upholstery to one of our trades and no one wanted them. Of course I said "I will take them" you can't let good fabric like that go to waste, right.

I looked at the fabric for a couple of weeks and decided to make some tote bags with it. The next meeting I… Continue

My Sewing Room

Posted on August 11, 2009 at 12:09pm 3 Comments

It used to be my living room then I decided that we don't do much "living" in there so the room that was to be the extra bedroom became the living room and the living room became the sewing room. I like it because the lighting is better, the floor is tile, when my customers come in they don't have to walk through my house. I have more room so it is a lot more messy, but at least you know that I am a very busy person. I try to sew everyday, I live in my sewing room, I meditate and pray in my… Continue

Thanks for the comment on my quilt. I like that block because when they are put together you get that small 4 patch which makes it more interesting. I was viewing your photos. Your work is great but, it's your fabric choices that are spectacular!

I would like to know of a book that introduces you to quilting. I'm dyslexic and pictures are really an important part of my learning. It's hard sometimes for me to follow the directions because i can't picture what is being said. Also where are You located? I am also building on my sewing library. Today I just got a book the art of sewing. It's all in black and white...........just awful

I don't know HOW to give up!
I am streamlining my marketing efforts and also my projects.
Sewing isn't all I do and I am learning to channel my creative energies into those projects that are fun & profitable. I consider myself a "production seamstress/crafter". I LOVE creating from a customer's concept to actuality!

GOOD AFTERNOON!

I DO have an etsy site but haven't benefitted from the experience yet.
I have paid fees but have made no sales.
I am just learning about a lot of this.
I am so grateful to have this site to interact with other sewers and crafters.
