Fall-jewelry-project

Posted on September 3, 2013 at 1:00pm 0 Comments

Hello!

Tonight I want to show you my little fall-jewelry-project. It's inspired by a pattern from Martha Stewart for pin-cushions. It's sewn of velvet ribbon, stuffed and glued in a real acorn cap.

Warm greetings from Germany,
Susanne

P.S.: I will post a photo

Hello to all!

I have not been here since a long time... Since 2 years I am back to work, after staying at home with my little girl. Next week she will be 5 years old and I have a new sewing project: I am sewing a new dress for her. Pictures will follow soon.

Best wishes to all, Susanne

Hi Susanne,

I just LOVE your sewing machine! I'll have to post a few pictures of some of the machines I have. Why I have so many, I do not know. But I just love them all.

Good Heavens - I did not realize you were in Germany. I actually know a tiny bit of German that I still remember from my high school days - many, many, many years ago, LOL. But not enough to help, especially with the technical part.
And yes, we collect - there are now about 15,000 in the collection that includes wild beans and other bean species, too. I do not do any breeding as my job is to try to keep them the way that they were collected so other scientists can use them and know just what they are using.
So, tell me where you live. OK?
Hope you are having a good holiday season.

If these still don't work write to me at my e-mail bq99113@yahoo.com and I can send them through that way.
And, the name came from the fact that I'm pretty much the only woman among a "whole passle" of male colleagues in my area of work.
