I support my family with sewing, pattern making and digitising embroideries. I have been sewing since i was six, paid since i was nineteen.I have design & pattern cutting qualifcations but i am still a jobbing seamstress!
I am training to become an adult education tutor, and presently deliver voluntary teaching of sewing for several groups from aged 8 and up.
I am working towards paid teaching, supplemented by selling my patterns and digital embroideries via the internet... well you gotta have a dream, right?
I am just getting used to my new body, a fuller more mature figure than i had before a spell of illness in 2004, and finding out what styles and fabrics suit the new me.
My sewing interests are:
garment, doll making, home decor, upholstery, quilting, embroidery
My sewing machine(s):
2x Janome, elna, pfaff, singer, huskylock.
I am interested in patterns such as:
Self-drafted.

Thanks : ) No, I'm not part of the Toy Society. I just kind of do it on my own becasue I add an easy reading version of the Bible to each of my toys and I don't think Toy Society wants any elements of religion associated with their group.
I have a blast with it and I think everyone likes getting something for free! Are you a member of the Toy Society?
Good point..I was wondering myself how the threads would stay wound in a box. I loved the plastic tube idea Judee added. How great that you have all yoru bobbins ready. There's a special thrill when you can just whip one out all full & ready to go huh?? : )
