I am an awesome:: I am a retired nurse and writer, who is trying to teach herself to draw and paint. I sew, crochet, knit and embroidery.I make dolls (see profile picture) to give away to kids with devestating illness (91 made and 82 given away so far)

My sewing interests are:: garment, quilting, cross stitch, embroidery

My sewing machine(s):: SE350 Brother Embroidery/Sewing machine, singer heavy duty sewing machine and Brother serger

I am interested in patterns such as:: simplistic and practical while cute

My Ex-sis in law who is 37and a single mother of 3 children (5-16 yo) and ironically also a nurse (RN @ the dialysis center of a nearby hospital) is finishing up her chemo w/her second bout with cancer! first time she had colon cancer, the 2nd time it came back in her liver and her gall bladder. cancer is no stranger to our family as we've lost many members to this horrible disease. I truly hope and pray Jody is finally done with her treatments and that this thing moves on and leaves her alone! God bless your brother and you for all you do for others as well!!!! You are a great person to think of others! thank you very much!!! Cindy Dye
