Hi, Alice, Something I've learned is: where there's a will, there's a way! Fortunately, the Handy Stitch is fairly inexpensive (less than $20.00) I believe. If it doesn't work for slipcovers, you could use it for a variety of other jobs.
Slipcover fabrication is the "bread and butter" of my sewing business http://littlebug903.wix.com/mysite. It's a good little side income for something I really love to do. If you have any questions about a slipcover project, please let me know. I'm here for you. Sincerely, Peg
Wow! Please keep me posted. It's hard to imagine this hand held machine sewing through multiple layers of slipcover fabric. Let me know how it works for you! Sincerely, Peg
Hello, Alice, Thank you for your question! The machine I used in the tutorial was purchased by my sister through a TV ad. I made the tutorial for her with no idea that so many of my youtube viewers would find it helpful. I believe machines like this can be purchased from Amazon.com. I don't own a Handy Stitch myself. Please stay in touch; I'd love to hear how this works out. Sincerely, Peg
