My mother had one breast removed so she needed a bra that would work for both sides. She looked for bras that had a lining that was loose from the cup of the bra-- in other words attached only around the outer edges. She would carefully cut the lining along the outer edge of the cup only enough to slip in the protesis. She would overcast, usually by hand, the open edge of the lining. She was small busted so this was enought to hold the protesis in place for her. Hope this helps.
