The main thing you need to do to order wholesale is get a tax id number from your state. Then any wholeseller will work with you. A lot of them don't require you to have a minimum order, but if you have a larger order you may get free shipping…

I would buy it from a fabric store so you can read the fibre content tag(s). I wouldn't take a chance on dollar store felt for kids crafts if it is something special you are making.

Is there a difference between felt that is sold by the yard on a bolt vs felt squares you can buy in a pack?? I need to sew on a little felt applique to my daughter's shirt and got the felt squares because it was all i needed. But now I wonder if it'll wash ok, etc?!
