"These models are good for a beginner. The hoop sizes are less than 5x7 though. When you bring in designs from companies other than Singer you have to change the colors around. I find they hardly ever come through in the colors they are supposed to.…"

Sewing tightly woven Microfiber Fabric

It skips stitches but sews fine using stabilizer. I am using a size 8 sharp needle that is designed for this fabric. Would love to hear any other suggestions.

Profile Information

I am an awesome:
Own a sew & vac store, sell Pfaff and Singer, teach sewing classes and crochet classes. Love to learn new sewing techniques and shortcuts. Love teaching kids to sew and crochet. I try to live my day being positive and happy, creativity helps.

My husband and I know quite a bit about sewing machines so if you have a question please ask and I will try to help. I am not here advertising my business (Pfaff dealers can only sell in their territory and in their store, you have to come to me). I guess you can say I am here to give advice from the dealer perspective and to learn more from others. I am a new Pfaff dealer so I know the new machines that came out this past year. I have carried the Singer 100, 150, 200, 250 and 350 Sewing/Embroidery Machine for several years, maybe I can help some of you with questions on those machines.
My sewing interests are:
garment, quilting, embroidery
My sewing machine(s):
Pfaff, Singer, White
I am interested in patterns such as:
Kwiksew, Connie Crawford Butterick Patterns (great fit)
