Hello Nill, My name is Arub and it is nice to meet you. I love your pincushions. I never thought of making them. I do not do many crafts. When I started teaching and sewing/ manufacturing full time I did not have time to do much of anything with crafting. But yours are very nice. Happy Sewing...Arub
I keep myself busy with my little knit booties, made from fun yarns. I put them in our Hosp. gift shop. It started out as just a bit of fun but amazingly, since last year, I have sold over 100 pr. of them. They are intended as a fundraiser for hosp. equip. as I am an Auxiliary member there. I even get special orders, especially the white ones for baptisms and christenings. I also keep the shop supplied with cotton knit dishcloths. I have made sewn items which I have also put in the shop. I give the shop 30% of every item sold so I just make enough to cover my costs but I so enjoy doing it. I have fun and it is for a good cause. Nice meeting you nakpunar. I will upload some photos as soon as I can so you can see my little fun items.
Hi nakpunar, looking forward to seeing you around the site. Your pincushions look great. I use ground walnut shells in my pincushions, which I get from the pet store. Were would you find emery grain?
