Dear Nancy, Thank you for your kind comments. Making this small sample helped tremendously when assembling the pair of queen shams. I'll post photos of the complete set with reversible bedspread when I get it all finished. Let me know how your project is progressing. Sincerely, Peg

Hi Ann...There are no clubs in my area where I am now. Is the workbook you speak of, the one that comes with the machine? I know I should just sit down and try to master this machine but between looking after my sick husband and home/yard etc. and still sew everything i want to, there doesnt seem to be enough time. Its the embroidery part of the machine that scares me!..Nancy
My machine was a 10000 and upgraded to 1001. I just love my machine and it meets more than I could ask of it. I joined the local Janome club and we spent last year just getting to know our machines. We didn't look at the embroidery side of the machine as I think most of us were comfortable with that and besides the club is for all Janome machines.
If you don't have anything like that in your local area, there is a workbook for the 1001 and I believe it's pretty good.
Hope that helps and I hope you get as much enjoyment from your machine as I have,
Melanie..the sun is shining and I have my sheets on the line and my gear sitting there for me to change and go out to transplant the lilac but I had to check out the review on the machine...,.,.Petunia
paid about what I paid for hers and loves it. Another gal Sew ?? said she loves hers....I would like to
have them both in my sewing room to convince me I like mine. Thanks for telling me to check there.
