Patricia, I was just over at Embroidery Library, where I thought I had seen FSL baby designs. I was correct! Here's the link: http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/SimpleProduct.aspx?CS_ProductID=X3941&CS_Category=&CS_Catalog=Emblibrary

You may have to copy and paste it, but the designs are really cute.

The FL is always a great idea. I know there are baby designs out there, I just can't think of where I saw them. I'll try scratching my old brain and see what I find. I'll let you know. You certainly are an early bird! I thought DH was one, but you have him beat by about two hours!!!

Once you try your first FSL, you will be hooked. My one big suggestion is to use the fabric-type water soluble stabilizer (Vilene or H2O Gone are two brands) rather than the film-type (Solvy). You will be truly amazed at the beauty of the snowflakes or angels or whatever you stitch. Here is a link to a free, absoluteyly gorgeous star from Sadia: http://sadiasews.com/gift2005.html. Check it out and get started, girlfriend!

Thank you for your kind comments about my embroidery. I have become obsessed with it myself. Project Linus and Smiles give me so much pleasure and a sense of fulfillment. It is a real blessing to have this to do in my "silver" years. Get in your sewing room and give your e-machine a good workout! Have you tried free-standing lace? It is soooo addictive! 8-)

Hi Patricia, welcome to the group. I absolutely love sewing too. I can't get enough. One of my New Year's resolutions is to spend more time sewing. A day without sewing at least a few stitches to me is like a day without sunshine. Are you working on any special projects? I also love to hear what others are creating. It inspires me to keep up.

Alexia
