I've used strips of wax paper under the sheer fabric to feed it though to stitch...works great!

Hi, just commented on the small stitches in the beginning stitching a garment...I agree with you, have ruined many garments doing that especially if the fabric is black.....Suzanne PS, I'm such a kitty lover too..... >^..^<</body>

About Me:
love to sew.....have 2 cats...they love to sit on my fabric and one thinks she wants to interupt me when I'm sewing...my 17 year old grandson lives with me, and I spend many days/nights at soccer games....I also volunteer at the High School, and for the past 5 years was the Registrar for the Youth Soccer League...and I'm making my first quilt, although, I've made 3 quilted table runners for Christmas presents...I think I"m hooked, but don't tell anyone.........ok???

el cheapo brother I need a serger very badly, just never have the funds when they go on sale...

the free kind, or when they go on sale....I usually get some free tutorials off the net....
