Why I Am Lucky And Will Be OK...With Sketching

Despite days since my stomping on
The pain is flaring just as strong
But I’m trying to turn this mood around
Keep these swollen feet on solid ground

And remember how lucky I am.

This is the latest imaginaiad, Leni, she’s just a sketch right now but is looking forward to getting her colours… Rellacafa

Pictures of RSD @ Rellacafa's New Home!

I’ve worked pretty hard

And I’m finally done

The battle with code

I eventually won

Now for my troubles

I have a brand new site

A playground of sorts

For anything I write

And though I still have

Very much updating to do

I couldn’t resist

Sharing what I have done with you!

The latest post

More pics than most

Of my little

Swollen toes

My body took another slip

This time striking me in the jaw

With I not knowing whatever for!

Thanks so much to all of you taking the time to watch these clips, it means a lot to me to be able to get the word out about this horribly debilitating yet unknown condition…thank you xx

With enthusiastic sing stars
And a loony dance floor

Good Riddance 2008: Year of the Hell

Right throughout this year did rain
Torrents of torture and barrels of pain
Here’s hoping that it can be set right again
Cause it’s doing my head in, just staying sane

And now I come to the little op

Too bad the pain just didn’t stop

my reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) story part 3

A little medical information
To help explain my situation
RSD is a constant curse
With pain that goes from bad to worse
And with so so much
That’s still unknown
The need for awareness
Is clearly shown

Thank you for following my story. Please let the meaning of RSD be what you learn today…

This story of mine
But it is quite long (and complicated)
So will take some time…

I hope you enjoy coming along for the ride :)

well, here it is...my first video

A fellow RSD sufferer, Sarah Rutgers, posted an amazing video recently. It was amazing because she allowed herself to show the dark and lonely side of RSD. I felt like she was talking from inside my own head and I don’t think I am the only sufferer who found that comforting…not comforting to see someone in pain but comforting to know that I am not the only one who feels like this.

Since watching Sarah’s, I have been feeling inspired to tell my story on video. I can’t delete and… Continue

synesthesia...my world of colours

Colours are something

I’ve always seen

Associated with

Unwarranted things

Like the days of the week…or the words of a song

I never realised

I was not alone

It’s quite strange to discover I have a ‘condition’

a perceptual…disorder?

I think not

A diff-order perhaps

but whatever I’ve got

is made of pure awesome

and now I can explain……

it's hailing inspiration

Ada has been taking over

filling my mind up

like a lover

She’s so close to being done

and is being pushed forward

by the next one…

Might be a few days until I get her ready to upload to the bubble, but you can check out her progress at my blog

Ada inspires a friend of mine

particularly during her writing time

it seems she has a flair for romance

and loves a bit of 80s… Continue

that thing on my head & my voice on tape

I might be weak and dainty
But I can still get painty
To stimulate my mind
As I pass the waiting time

appreciating appreciation...never believe it can't get worse

ugh
i am made of pain
in my blog i have explained
it’s right through my body and my hands don’t work so good
feels like purgatory
waiting for answers
while it gets worse

this is what I did today
to try and keep the horror at bay
it’s just me in a watery way

appreciating appreciation…never believe it can’t get worse

oh how quaint, she learns to paint

The weather has noticed the season again
And shifts mercilessly between sunshine and rain
And I can move forward, whilst waiting still
And drink up a cup
Of a new creative fill

oh how quaint, she learns to paint

a little lesson in acrylic puppies

He’s the biggest little dog

You’re ever likely to meet

His head ridiculously large

He plods on enormous feet

But once he was a teeny

Little tiny Veet

Who liked nothing more

Than to give a cuddly greet

And whilst he’s gotten larger

He remains adorably sweet

This is the funny little guy

Keeping me company

Who better to practise my painting on?…

wiling away the day in a sketchy way

It’s amazing how much can be said
For the mesmerising powers of paper and lead
With a story bouncing round my head
And creative hunger being fed

With a little writing and a little sketching, Nora Andrews came to be…

and turn the tables

but here i am

back again

and sharing my little

hunt for distraction

feeling a little

out of touch

trying to catch up

though there is so much

please don’t be sad

that I’ve not been around

sometimes i work through things

with my head in the ground

i’m almost ready to surface again…

pretty paintbrushes and the princess of tiger lilies

Once again that special day
Came along in its special way
With gifts & cards & lots of cake
To leave a little belly ache
When mixed with just a little wine
Bubbling in the bright sunshine
So nice to get outside and play
And to feel mostly normal, almost anyway

Come see my pretty pressies…

welcome to a world of pre-teen whimsy

I’ve been reading through
Old diaries of mine
As I’ve not much to do
It seems like a good time
To bring some order
To my keepsakes’ trove
And giggle at
These things I love

Ladies, did you scribble down your loves too?
Lads, yep, little girls are that silly
