Serger Help!

I'm in the market for a Serger. Never had one but with my B-day and Mother's Day coming up (I gave my family "permission" this year to do a combo gift, lol) I've asked for one. I would love some feedback on your serger experience and what brands you have so that I can start my search. Thanks!! Can't wait to hear from you!

Comment by Angella Burt on April 16, 2011 at 8:15pm: i have a singer serger and i like it fairly well. i plan to purchase a Janome serger in the future. i have a Janome sewing machine and i think i would like to match my sewing machine. i like serger for finishing seams and sewing knits. my b-day is a few days after mother's day maybe i should ask for my Janome. once you get the hang of it you will like serging i know
