Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

In my dad's birthday this year - 70 years.
And I like a good daughter decided to make him a gift, make a warm bathrobe. I live in Russia and in winter we have cold, sometimes even very frostyI wanted to warm his winter evenings thing made me.

Men's clothes, I do not know how to sew, by profession I am a tailor of women's clothingDecided to find a pattern in the internet and I found a suitable pattern.

Butterick
I fell in love with that found, everything easy and simple, the only problem was - the size ofthe discrepancy. By the standards of my father went to M, and had to sew S.

And here is what I got!
In the photo, my husband, he agreed to show the robe. My dad is too modest, andrefused to be photographed.

It's beautiful!  It was nice of your husband to be a willing model!
