My own holiday sewing this year has been a complete flop. Even though I see so much online and off (especially while shopping) that inspires me and I know darn well how easy some of it really is to sew together. I wanted to round up some sewing projects for this Christmas and New Years for the kitchen.
Sew here's what I gathered up for stitching inspiration:
Completely cute, and simple with awesome decor potential. A unique hand-sewn gift to make for someone. Perhaps your child's coach, or a favorite neighbor? This whimsical quilted pot holder is a quick quilted project because it uses the quilt-as-you-go method. It's a great scrap-buster and makes an great gift by itself or added to a Hostess Tote of kitchen items.
Is there someone you know who would just adore and cherish these feminine and festive holiday oven mitts? Here’s a sewing and quilting tutorial by the brilliant Melanie of "It Happens In A Blink" showing us how we can sew them up too!
