Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

But it needs decorating, my brother started stripping the old wallpaper so that the walls can be nicely plastered. I am very grateful for his help but he seems to want to do it in his own time and I get frustrated because I want it done like 'now'. I have now decided to have a go at it myself because the room that I sew in at the moment feels suffocating.

The sewing will have to wait now (ouch) I need to speed things along. Does anyone else feel as though, if you dont get up and do it yourself it never gets done?

I'm pretty blessed to have a husband who is like you Miss C. If he starts something, he finishes it rather quickly. I'd like to have a place in my basement for a sewing room, but I'd have to share it with the mountain bikes, foozball, drums, skateboards.............yeah, nevermind, I'll stay where I am till the boys move out! :) Good luck getting that room finished..........gonna share photos when you're done.

If we dont organise, delegate and demand sometimes, the house would fall down on us... lol, they dont see anything that needs doing!!!! And when their good, they are realy georgously good.

Miss Creative, absolutely I feel that way sometimes! My husband and I go round and round sometimes about getting stuff done. I asked him over a year ago about making me a new way to hold all my thread. Has he done anything? No. I feel your pain. If you figure out a way to get these men to move, let me know.
