Footed Pajamas

Hi. Not sure I am doing this right at all....... I make pajamas for my kids each Christmas. Now my daughter is asking for footed pajamas!! I only found one pattern on Kwiksew but did not like it. I could take an old pair apart for a pattern........no patience or time at the moment. Does anyone know where I may find a pattern for this? Why is it so obsolete?

I just took some of the thick socks that come with the treads on the bottom and sewed them to the bottom hem of the pants.
