Free Easter Bunny PDF Sewing Pattern + How to Sew the Blanket Stitch by Hand

A free Easter Bunny plushie pattern in PDF format by Jodi Herbert to download, print, and sew!   A sweet and soft Easter Bunny sewn together using fleece, cotton, and scrap felt. A nice beginner sewing project with lots of instructions and photos to lead you along the way.

This little bunny can can be sewn out of any kind of fleece fabric such as winter acrylic fleece, faux fur, or wool felt for the main body pieces. For the beginner the designer recommends using polar fleece or felt for the body because minky/cuddle fleece can be a test for even an experienced sewer as it unravels and you have fluff everywhere.

Jodi Herbert who designed this Easter Bunny plushie pattern, machine appliqued using a blanket stitch, and a straight stitch to applique the arms, feet, inner ears and tail. The face is hand sewn on using a blanket stitch and straight stitches for the mouth and whiskers!

Great tutorial. Even though I have been doing the blanket stitch for years, I still learned a thing or two. Thanks
