Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

I have wanted to make a quilt for my
etsy shop for long time, but thanks to my customers, I had busy for quilting service for a while.

The last week, I had quite loose schedule, and this quilt was created! :D

Since I was quilting, quilting, quilting for my customers, Can you imagine how much fun I had for piecing??? I didn't even realize how fun it is..., I think I was almost forgetting how fun it is.

I was cleaning my room a little. Cleaning to me means..., to sort fabric
stash by color, by size, anyway to organize fabrics. And I thought I
would piece them to reduce stash, started to sew them together. When a
small piece became a big piece after patchworking, I thought I would
make a crib quilt.

I cut the big piece into 24 of small rectangles and added sashes and borders, it was one day job.

I am relieved to know that I still love making a quilt, I thank something for letting me have such a rich creative day :)

Thank you sooooooooooo much for kind words, you ladies!!

nancy rinas,
Actually, just a little stash disappeared for this quilt... you would need 100 of me if you have years of stash! :) I do have a lot of stash everywhere in my room either....
