Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

I got this idea from Cherie but instead of using an oatmeal container, I used my daughter's empty cans of milk.  I've put a cup of sand (or rocks) for each can to have some weight and make it stable.  You can glue the lids back on or tape them.

I then measured the diameter of the cans and made a tube

One end sewn and the other open to put the cans in.  I then hand sewn the opening closed.

And here's the finished product....
