How to make a hat and scarf from a sweater

This project would make a fantastic gift for any little boy, or girl. You could vary the eyes, ears, and nose to create any critter they might like. Great "Green" project-there are so many wonderful sweaters that no one will wear,at home and at the local thrift stores. These would make good donation projects for the many children who are in need.
