Sew, What's New?

Curating sewing and quilting talent, techniques, and tutorials, since 1997.

If you have some fun novelty fabrics for pre-school kids, and don't know what to do with it all, this project is perfect for you. For this size book, you want to make sure your
novelty print isn’t too large. Look for interesting scenes and colors. If you have an embroidery machine, you could embroider the title on to the cover, and even personalize the book using their name for your little one. ex:
"Isaac's I Spy Book". These would make excellent gifts. Quilt Taffy does a great job with this tutorial.

Sew Cute! LittleGirl's teacher asked for 'treasures' for the class store. These will be a perfect way to contribute and use up some scraps. I think I'll add some instructions...believe it or not, some kids don't know how to play I Spy w/out their computer! LOL :o) I'll post pictures when I'm done.
