The good news is that I've memorized and made myself familiar with all the parts of my sewing machine. I also can sew in a straight line and have all my supplies. The bad news is that I goofed laying my pattern out on my fabric. My blue skirt looks like a pillowcase. (Sigh)

But, I'm not giving up! Tomorrow is another day and I've got lots of fabric and a seam ripper.

Good for you, Sharon! Even veteran sewers make goofy mistakes! I keep three seam rippers in my work area so I don't have to hunt for one when I need it. I can't wait to see your project - with your determination I'm sure it will be a success!
