At the end of summer, I was left with a pile of perfectly fine, well fitting almost new Tshirts of my daughter. These Tshirts would work perfectly except that they were all half-sleeved. "They would be too short by next summer...if only they had sleeves..." I found myself thinking. And then I realized, adding sleeves won't be that hard, after all I have been 'adding' sleeves to all the tops I have been sewing for her. These Tees are just sewn by someone else. So I set about adding full sleeves to those Tees, and then just for fun, I added some matching stripes in the front.
Do you also have some short sleeved Tees/Tops sitting around to be made into full sleeved Tees? Get the tutorial here..
Here're some more Tees that I added sleeves to:

Funny that you mention this. I'm in the middle of one such refashion myself. On my last trip to Walmart a turquoise Tee came home with me. Ever since I added a skirt to it, hubby has been begging me to keep it for our daughter, even though it is 1 year smaller size for her :)
Adding skirts to a short Tee is such a great idea, they get new life and they often turn out way prettier than the original Tee.
