Memory Pillow - My First!

This is the one pillow I made for my niece, A memory pillow, After this was done, I could see where I could have done things differently, Yet, have to admit I did a good job! Where my niece was so happy, she has this pillow which now sits on her bed. This is the back, the embroidery was free handed. I used my mother's fabric from her blouses and the buttons on those that had them. Clothes that my niece would remember my mother wearing.

I used for the photo on computer printer fabric June Tailor products This site also has software that you can create
within their list menu called "Purple Chimp" There is also a video attached that will help you figure out how to use this app.

Comment by Patricia on July 20, 2011 at 7:58am: SewSassy, I would have made the pillow tighter. pushing the stuffing all down and then sewing it . Take off that stupid flower tape at the top. Have no idea what I was thinking with that!!! ?? And maybe keeping off the buttons, thought about it later , as my niece couldn't lay her head on all those buttons. That is if she wanted to lay her down on Grandma or grandpa.. And did a better job on the hand emordery
