My Sewing Room

It used to be my living room then I decided that we don't do much "living" in there so the room that was to be the extra bedroom became the living room and the living room became the sewing room. I like it because the lighting is better, the floor is tile, when my customers come in they don't have to walk through my house. I have more room so it is a lot more messy, but at least you know that I am a very busy person. I try to sew everyday, I live in my sewing room, I meditate and pray in my sewing room. It it my most favorite place in the house. My husband likes it there too because now he has started coming into my sewing room and lounging around, even though he has a bigger tv in the "living room" and nice comfy couch and also the computer he still comes in my sewing room and sits in my favorite chair and watches tv. Yesterday I came into the sewing room and there he is sitting in my chair with his feet propped up on my sewing chair. I said "what are you doing in here?" We both got a good laugh from that.

We had a charming tiny room off the main hallway that I decided to turn into my own little sewing/work-at-home workroom. I decluttered, cleaned, filed, planned, painted, put up curtains, bought cute little organizers.
Then one day, DH decided to place "one little notebook" on that shelf, and the room exploded. I haven't been able to use it since.
THEN, I decided to make the extra bedroom into my sewing room. Same process of cleaning, decluttering, tidying, etc. One day, my Dear Daughter decided she needed new furniture in her room and the next thing I knew, my beautiful sewing room was filled with her unwanted leftover used furniture. I'm still working on that mess. :)
