This is so cute!! I'm going to make one to fit the box I use for my sewing kit for travel. I visited the selvage bolg site and ther are some really neat ideas. I always hated throwing them away as I've had some that were really pretty .

I will make one of these. I used to save certain selvedges and my daughters said what are you saving those for? I thought someday something would come to me. Now I see something I like.

I too am hooked on using selvage quilts! They are so much fun and a great way to keep those bits of fabric out of landfills. And historians will love us as they will have so much information on our quilts from reading the selvages.

If you haven't tried this yet.........I suggest you give it a try!

There is an entire blog dedicated to the art of using selvages, (not my blog) but worth the look !
