Sew, What's New?

Here's an easy way to make some really cute slippers! Shabby Raggy Roses wrote this tutorial and I am so glad they did as I was on my way into the city today for new slippers. There is a 'Slipper base' template & 'Slipper top' template to download and print. If your foot is larger, add the extra length of your measured foot to the tails of the slipper top and to the sole to make a perfect fit. Check out this tutorial and download the templates!

Just had my first Zumba Class and decided that I need to make a pair of these slippers so I can move easier on the patterned carpeting on the floor in the community room. I had made a copy of your directions and will now put them to work. :)

These are so neat!!! I have a couple of eldery friends that love these for house shoes. I think I'll get their shoe sizes and surprise them. Gosh, with the right fabric and trim, and maybe some firmer padding, you could do these for older men.
