Swiffer Covers: Patterns & Tutorials

I could not pass these tutorials by! This is a great project to use up some old towels or fleece to cut down on swiffer supply costs and paper waste. Clean green! These swiffer cloths can be used over and over again with just a quick wash. Try red and green fabrics for the holiday season ;) You can make them reversible. Clean your floors in style while saving money! Make use of these excellent tutorials and pattern by visiting

This is an excellent idea! Kudos!!! I was just thinking about getting rid of my Swifter but you now I have some new uses and don't have to worry about what to do when I run out of refills because I did not want to buy them.

Thanks!

Wonderful! I'm excited about this. Thank you for this idea! We only use cloth napkins, so this is another way I can keep from having trash!

great idea and used facecloths or dishclothes that have seen better days can be used for this idea. Anything to save money these days and not throwing out items that still have a lot of mileage in them.

THANKS! This is great! My swifter mop is sitting unused because I ran out of covers and don't feel like spending the money for more! Now I can use up some old towels that are in the rag box. They will work just perfectly! Thank you Thank you

Such a great idea!! I bought one baby blanket for $1 and was able to get two duster covers--- probably could have gotten three if I had cut it better :-) Thanks for sharing!!

I am so disappointed I dontaed my swiffer before I could sew. A doctor I used to work for used to have us use the paper towels too and I've used the dryer sheets, but I figured I was wasting a bunch of paper towels and donated. Now I am "thrifting" for a new one for awhile now.
