Hi everyone, I havent posted lately and thought I would keep you up-to-date on what's happening hear. I finished the front of my Christmas quilt and still need to quilt it. I'm also working on quilting a hand bag. I can take this to the meeting i go to instead of carrying everything.

We started out with a cold winter but now its 58 degrees here at midnight. My Dh's family in NW Kentucky really had it bad. He has three sisters living there. His #1 sister lives in a nursing home and for 3 days they were out of electricity. Her daughter made her 2 quilts and thats what she used to help keep her warm including the nursing home blankets.

His #2 Sister lives on a farm. We called her Friday and she told us she was already out of electricity for 3 days and finally has her phone working again. They went to Dallas Texas Saturday morning to stay with her daughter.

# 3 sister lives with her daughter and we weren't able to talk to her but she has two sons and now she lives with her daughter. We're pretty sure she's fine. She has alzheimer and she's not able to live alone anymore and we're not sure if she really can remember Dh anymore. So sad but we understand.

Your probably wondering why i say #1, 2 and 3 sister. There use to be eight in his family and he's the eighth one born. Everytime they talk on the phone they say which sister they are. #1, 2, or 3. The rest of the family has passed away. I never did meet his other sister because she passed away at the age of 18. The other three are brothers. They all lived a good life too, just God asked them all to come home early.

I'll leave for now. Oh by the way, My Team won!!! Pittsburgh Steelers!!! Thats my home state even though I now live in Florida. Too cold of winters up there for me. Now I'll leave. Nite nite
