No I will be cooking more. I go into Christmas mode now and will be baking and making candy and all the good things my kids all love. they will be here for Christmas and New Years Eve and they all have special things they like. I always call them to see what they want and I am sure to have plenty for them to eat and take home with them, then I die in Jan and do nothing....
If you are having a problem they will help you and there is also an online group for showing what you have made and help. They are just the best in my book. Tell hubby you want it for Christmas.. I think that is what I did. It make fitting this old fat short woman east.... hehe... Glenna
Yes Birdie Pattern Master boutique is worth the money. It is hard to fit ourselves since we move everytime we try to pin ourselves...hehe..... I have never regretted buying this program and the updates are free and the upgrades are very reasonable. I really looked into all the programs before purchasing this one and to me it seemed the best with the lest amout of tweeking of the pattern or measurements. There are group all around the coutry also but I have never had one close to me or the time for that matter. The tech help is wonderful, will continue with another comment
Thank you for my birthday email.... I have been busy for an old woman (grin). I finally got one of my chairs done, not perfect but done . Then it was time for cooking for Thanksgiving and I do two meals , one for me and hubby on thanksgiving and one for my kids on the weekend. You know how a divorced family goes.... to many places for the kids to get to so a few years back I moved our meal to the weekend and they love it and I do too.... now it full christmas mode to get all the decorations up.
Yep -- sewing a "mermaid" type wedding dress for my oldest -- it took the combining of 3 patterns to get the skirt, neckline, and sleeves we wanted but it was very beautiful. I don't really like making clothing anymore, too fussy to get the "fit" I want... I haven't done any sewing for a long time, but hope that the encouragement of this site will get me going again!
I think I might work on the quilt after I get off of the Wii Fit. (I have to stop sitting at this computer so long). I have to figure out where I am going to keep my stash - as small as it is. Wish I had time for a winter wall hanging for my front entrance!
I knew you were kidding. :o) Abbi didn't like me putting that photo up, so I told her I'd switch it back to the original. I'm stagnant on the sewing this weekend. I keep looking at everything, but don't want to work on any of it. I think I need a quick project to get back into the bliss of sewing. Know what I mean?
