Hi Larisa, are you in England? My father's family was from Leeds. I live in Southern California. What types of bread do you make? I always like to try new things, but I have some very good favorites also. I am going to start a baby blanket business in the next few months, but I just had to move to another town and had knee surgery a week ago, so I have been waiting to get settled. Tell me about yourself.

Thank you for your compliment Larisa. I love your black Singer sewing machine. All your books look fabluous. I will have to look for them at my favorite bookm store. I have the Couture Sewing book. The others look absolutely spectacular. On a past trip, my sister an I visited the Minnesota Textile Museum in Minneapolis, Minnesota and saw some fabulous historical pieces. They also have many wonderful pieces at the Minnesota Historical Society , also in Minnneapolis. I will attach some of the photos I took there for you to view on my page. Enjoy. Brenda
hi there! i am new too. - love your sewing machines.
i am pretty much a novice with sewing, but...
i hope to get some pics up when i get time. i made my own dress form and it turned out really good i think. will have to get pics of her up here.
Hi Larisa,
I like the vintage embroidery patterns, like the photo on my page. I have several other pin up girl patterns (I believe they're from the 1940's) that I'm trying to find time to embroider, but there are too many patterns and too little time!
I also enjoy sewing aprons and like those that have a vintage flair to them. Other than that, the only vintage thing I've got is my grandmother's wedding dress...which is slowly disinegrating - sigh!
Nice to meet you..love your photos!
Aloha

Hi Larisa!!!
This is the first response I have had from this blog. I am totally new to this type of communication. This is not my only cat, I have a 'Scooter' who keeps us constantly guessing on what his next personality will be. I just bought a Serger from Amazon.com and can't wait to see what I can do with it, never having worked with one before. Keep in touch, I need all the motivation I can get from fellow crafters and sewers! Have a good day from Aiken, South Carolina (USA).
Hello Larisa!
Many thanks for your greetings. You are collecting sewing machines? Thats very interesting. I found an old russian one on the street a few years ago. I will send you a picture...
Have a nice tim on s.w.n. and many greetings from Germany!
I live in Dallas, GA, USA. I have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Oldest is 14 youngest is 8. We have 2 dogs and no cats. My husband is a classic car enthusiast and cats don't mix well as they walk across the convertible top and this Georgia clay is like dye, so you've got paw prints across the top that will not come out. We love cats but don't have them.
One of my new year's resolutions is to photograph the things I sew but haven't fulfilled that yet. I am committed though. It'll get done.
Shirley
