Oh the snow, we are down to an inch or so on the ground, but it is snowing now! My mom was an amazing crafter, but her love was silk flower arranging. I didn't pay much attention when I was younger, (sadly she passed), so most of what I do is from memory. I wish she was here to direct me, but sometimes it feels like she is guiding my hands! That sounds totally ridiculous, but it is more a comfort thing I think. Well, I must keep moving, you know how it is I'm sure. Take care and blessings to you!
Yes, I am an early riser! I retired early, so I have alot of time on my hands. I don't sew clothing or anything like that. I wish I could learn, but patterns and I don't get along! So, I stick to simple things. I also dabble in floral arranging and blankets, pillows, curtains and such. I know what you mean about finishing a big project. Many times I have thought I will never do this again! It's nice to hear from you!
I am so sorry that I have not responded back to you. I have had a lot on my plate lately and I forgot that you had emailed me.
A little about myself, i am 48 years old and sewing is a passion of mine whenever I can sit down to enjoy it. I have two children, my son and his wife, and my 15 year old daughter. I live here in a small northern town in upper Idaho that I moved to 6 months ago and I love the awesome scenery that I wake up too. It is far better then living in Oklahoma that is for sure. I didn't start using an embroidery machine until around 2000 and ever since then I really enjoy the things that I can do on it, especially lace making. I have been sewing since I was in Junior High and like I said it is a passion of mine. If you have any questions for me, I would be more then happy to answer them. thank you so much for contacting me. Maria
