And now it is September. I have done well with my recycled jeans. I am looking forward to an improvement in the economy next year for better sales. My finished product has gotten better as I have gone along and now includes more skirts and embellished jumpers made from bib overalls and jumpers.
You must be good at computers. I do pretty good because my husband has a business called Comptech Plus and does all sorts of computer work. I have a baby lock elagio embroydery machine but have never taken the time to learn how to use it. I am too busy making things. Great client base. I have a very large on for shirts because I have made and sold them for 6 years. We'll see how the jeans go,
Tana, yes I am trying to sell one of the PR600's. Since I closed my store front I feel that I can get more done at home with just one machine. However, if it doesn't sell, I'll keep it and use it as one person I know who has a children's boutique wants me to do her monogramming. She has her own equipment, but is tired of doing it. So, I may actually have MORE monogramming than I used to have. And I have always had lots of monogramming to do. I have a client base of about 300, so they keep me busy off and on. More on lately.
Thanks so much for the sweet compliment. I did enjoy putting the fabrics together. It took me a couple of hours to make this, but the instructions were kind of hard to understand when it came time for the pin cushion ball to be attached to the ruffled part. Anyway, I'm sure I will enjoy it. By the way, the pattern is in the SWN free patterns section.
i think it takes a real eye for that sort of thing. How often have you seen a quilt that just doesn't flow. It might have big dark or light spot that jump out to the detrement of the rest of the quilt. It is not easy to balance it so nicely. It is great to have fabrics that go so well together though. I agree with you but that is only part of it.
