Liz Bryson shows us how EASY it is to stitch this very pretty basic lace top, without a pattern, in this free sewing video. You can find pretty lace by the yard at FabricMart here: http://sew-whats-new.net/maif If you decide to give this top a try, consider using lace with some stretch for ease. Lace is considered an open-weave textile that is made by looping, twisting, or knitting threads into specific patterns that typically repeat. Lace can be made from cotton, nylon, polyester, rayon, and some blends. Lace can also stretch when made with material such as Spandex that allows the lace to stretch and recover back to it's original state. Lace is suitable for casual wear and formal wear. Even the most beginner sewers can stitch gorgeous dresses, skirts, tops and accessories.
