Batik squares on point created using this method of cutting and sewing half-square triangles. I used what was left-over from a batik layer cake I had been saving, and three pieces of Malam batiks from Benartex. I included some paintbrush border along the outer edge in purple. A fun, quick, and simple quilt top to piece. You could piece this top in one evening. I used lots of starch in this one to fight the stretch on the bias!
Quilt colors: light blue, royal blue and navy blue, aqua, lavender, purple, tropical greens, and a hint of fuchsia. Visualize Bahamas, Bermuda, or the Canary Islands.. can you hear the waves?
