I vacuum my sewing room every week, then fit my adaptor and vacuum my overlocker too.  I have marked my calendar to oil it every month.  This may make me sound an angel, but that's to make up for my evil past!

I had my Elna Lotus from age 16 to 32 without ever cleaning or servicing it, then my Riccar did 22 years without any TLC!  Since I got my Janome sewing machine and overlocker I have turned over a new leaf, but then they do get a lot more use than my old machines did!
