In this week's video tutorial I teach you step-by-step how to make a quilted casserole carrier. These carriers make the perfect functional gift to give as a hostess gift at your next potluck! There is still plenty of time for you to whip up one (or a few) of these in time for the holiday festivities this year!
Supplies you need are:
Rotary cutter +mat
rulers
pins
marking device
sewing machine
thread
ironing board + iron
2 pieces of fabric measuring 22" x 22"
2 pieces of 100% cotton batting or Insul-Brite measuring 23" x 23"
1 strip of fabric measuring 5" x 22"
2 pieces of fabric measuring 4.5" x 7"

Comment by Sandra Lackey on March 2, 2012 at 4:38pm Love, love, love this tutorial. However, do you have a step-by-step written tutorial for this? I really want to make this, but won't be near my computer or the internet when I start work on it. In any event, this is a great idea. I know what I'm going to do for birthdays this year. Thank you.
