How to Make a Hinged Back Cushion Video demonstrates step-by-step how to create a large cushion with a hinge that serves as both the back and seat of a chair. This video will walk you through patterning and sewing the fabric and cutting and inserting the foam. You will also learn how to make an optional attached pillow for the top of the cushion. Hinged cushions can be found on both indoor and outdoor furniture.

Great video.  Even if I'm not making the exact same cushion, several of the techniques and tips used in this one would apply to making other cushion covers as well.  I have never used the basting tape but am certainly going to consider it now. Helpful and interesting.  Thanks.

Very nice, but when i put the zpper in i don't cut it off.
