Here is an easy way to make leggins! You can make it with the colors, prints and textures that you want to use.

You will need:
- Jersey or lycra (not 100% cotton)
- Sewing machine
- Pins
- Chalk
- Scissors

Fantastic, I tried to make my daughter a pair of leggings but it wasn't as easy as this, I am deffo going to try and make a few pairs of these !!!!!!!!

I think I would try both with an elastic waist, and without, to see which suits you better.  Sometimes the type of fabric will determine that as well.  Gianny's fabric looks like a 2-way stretch to me, and probably a cotton or poly spandex blend.  You could try a horizontal one-way stretch.  I would use a ball-point needle for a project like this.

Very nice, is it cotton stretch or 100 percent polyester. U use the straight stitch and what kind of needle not the double legs. Am i right

O.K. I am going to make a hundred pairs of these. I usually put elastic in the waist, do they fit better with out? I imagine the fit would be alot smoother that way, without elastic. So, I shall try it
